Tess Nelson is a third generation San Diegan and graduate of UCSD, with a major in biology and minor in English Literature.
She began piano lessons at the age of eight and started playing guitar and singing at her local Parish at the age of twelve.
Today, she is involved with several music ministries throughout the Diocese of San Diego as well as singing for special events.
Tess has been at St. Columba Parish since 2008 directing the Contemporary Choir as well accompanist and co-director of the School Choir.
She sings regularly with Pacific Coast Chorale and The Masterworks Chorale.
Stage production credits include Hunchback Chorus(Hunchback of Notre Dame-world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse -2014), Mozart Requiem & Carmina Burana with City Ballet Orchestra and Co.(Spreckles 2015/18)Legend Zelda-Symphony of the Goddess(Civic 2017)
